English Teacher Application Procedure

The exact foreign language expert application process involved for each individual person, couple or group varies. Here is an outline of the process and general requirements to all applicants to teach in China.

Step 1
You can place your application online or send your resume via email with most recent photo attachments. A cover letter is optional only if you have some specific details to bring our attention like the following circumstances: i.e. you will bring your family, a friend of yours is also a candidate and you both want to be placed in the same location or share an apartment. Ensure that you include the following details of your resume: full name, date of birth, nationality, highest education level, availability date to start teaching, address, phone number and email address, previous professional or teaching experience (if any) and other important background. If you are outside China tell us your current location.

Step 2
Each applicant will receive an acknowledgement receipt confirming the receipt of your email resume. We will evaluate your documents then contact you should we need additional papers. To save time include these documents as attachments when you email.

- a copy of your degree/diploma

Step 3
We send all the materials with an evaluation report to the institutions. Before accepting a teacher, the institutions require a sighting of all these elements. The employer and/or school will select the foreign language expert based on your preferences, location, level of students that you will going to handle, start date, etc. If you have no preferences, we will decide for you from the available positions.

Step 4
We will send you a concrete Job Offer, with the details of the school, student level that you will teach, etc. If there are several positions available that match your preferences, we will send them all and you can choose the one that you prefer.

Step 5
At this stage make it sure that you are happy with the contract and understand the terms and conditions. We will explain anything if there are unclear matters. Any terms and conditions you want to be negotiated we will do on your behalf at this stage before you come in China. The typical concern most like likely is salary or side benefits related, condition of free accommodation, working hours, internet access, etc.

Step 6
Once the contract is agreed upon, you will sign the contract and send it to our good office via email.

Step 7
We will send you a medical copy form for you to go through the medical test. Please note the ff: items when about you undergo medical test.
1. The medical form should have your photo on it with a seal across the juncture between the photo and the medical form.
2. The items listed on the medical form should all be accomplish
3. Please email or fax your medical results soon after getting the results.
4. Don't forget to bring the original medical form, the chest X-ray exam results, photo and original laboratory exam (blood test, sugar test) report, otherwise you will have to go through blood test again.
5. Please bring the original and attested medical results including x-ray photo with you when you come to China, otherwise you will require to undergo another medical exam after you arrived in China.

Step 8
A school in China will sponsor your work (Z) visa. If you are teaching in China, your work permit and visa issuance letter will be faxed. It is advisable  to provide us a fax number for your convenience. Once you have received them you will need to visit your nearest China Embassy of Consulate, take the work permit and visa issuance letter along with passport and corresponding photos. You also have to pay the visa charge when you submit your documents. (Please refer to China visa section)
